The official journey reveals availability only after several selections and personal-data steps. If nothing is available, applicants often have to return later and repeat the same process from the beginning.

Applicant and contact details are encrypted at rest. Extension tokens are stored on our server only as hashes. Government cookies stay inside the user’s Chrome profile, and the extension receives only the applicant job it is currently checking. No Cl@ve credentials are requested or stored.

What does TIE Watch do?
TIE Watch repeats the routine steps needed to check Spain's public immigration appointment website from your own Chrome browser. It checks the province, procedure and office scope you authorised, then alerts you when a slot or human action appears.
What is a cita previa de Extranjería?
Cita previa means a prior appointment. Spain's Extranjería appointment service is used for several immigration procedures, including some appointments handled by Policía Nacional. The exact procedure and documents you need depend on your circumstances, so always check the official instructions or obtain qualified advice.
What does Policía – Toma de Huellas mean?
Toma de huellas means fingerprint collection. On the official appointment website it commonly appears in the procedure for issuing a TIE card after the relevant immigration process. TIE Watch helps monitor appointment availability; it does not determine eligibility or replace official guidance.
What does ‘En este momento no hay citas disponibles’ mean?
The official help service says this means the selected office's appointments are currently occupied and advises checking again later. Availability is managed by each office. It does not mean your application has been refused, and TIE Watch cannot create extra availability.
When are new TIE or toma de huellas appointments released?
There is no single dependable public release timetable for every province and office. Availability is controlled locally and can change without warning. TIE Watch checks at the interval allowed by your plan, but it cannot predict or influence when an office releases appointments.
Is an official cita previa de Extranjería free?
Booking through the official Spanish government appointment service is free. TIE Watch charges for its optional monitoring software, not for an appointment itself, and does not sell or own government appointments.
Why was TIE Watch created?
The official website generally requires applicants to choose a procedure and office, enter their identity and contact details, and advance through the journey before it reveals availability. When no appointment exists, users must return later and repeat much of the same process. TIE Watch was created to reduce that repetitive work, not to bypass or interfere with the official system.
Is TIE Watch affiliated with the Spanish government?
No. TIE Watch is an independent browser tool. It is not operated, endorsed or approved by the Government of Spain and does not provide immigration or legal advice.
Does the extension do anything I could not do manually?
No. It assists with routine, user-directed steps that a person could perform manually on the same public appointment website. It does not create appointments, bypass queues, defeat security controls or bypass CAPTCHA.
Does TIE Watch book the appointment automatically?
No. The extension takes the official journey to the availability stage and alerts you. You must complete the government CAPTCHA, review the offered appointment and make the final confirmation yourself.
