TIE Watch is a Chrome extension and runs inside a desktop Chrome profile. This keeps the government session and browser activity on the computer you control. Firefox, Safari, Edge and mobile browsers are not currently supported.

The paired computer must remain switched on and awake with Google Chrome open. Government sessions stay in that Chrome profile. When TIE Watch sounds the alarm, respond promptly because available slots can disappear quickly.

During the 15-day Free trial, one applicant is checked once every 24 hours. Personal and Pro plans normally check every 10 minutes during the published service window. Timing is a target, not a guarantee, because the computer, browser, network and official website must all be available.

A verified account receives 15 days of Free checking for one applicant, with one check every 24 hours. Each NIE/TIE may receive one Free trial in a rolling 24-month period, so deleting the account or using a different email does not restart the trial.
