NIE and TIE are not the same thing
An NIE is the personal identification number assigned to a foreign national. A TIE is the physical foreigner identity card that records a person’s administrative status. Spain’s Ministry of the Interior explains that the TIE does not replace the passport or national identity document as proof of identity.

Only choose any office if you genuinely agree to attend whichever office the official website offers. An appointment at the wrong location may not be useful.

The official journey can require the NIE, full legal name, nationality, phone number and email address. Information should match the applicant’s documents.
